Annika & Yijie's wedding was quirky and unique, and WARM! These two couldn't have prepared for the soaring temperatures and humidity that covered New England on their wedding weekend, but they didn't let the heat dampen their joy one bit! These two are so funny and have an incredibly unique story, which was reflected all over in the details of their day--starting with Annika's long-time companion, Dad (the T-Rex, not to be confused with her actual human father, Carl) donning a custom tuxedo for the occasion! A friend also hid small dinosaur figurines all over the reception space, and it was such a blast to keep finding them nestled among the decor! Annika & Yijie met in high school, when he was an exchange student from China, and it was really special to see the subtle ways they wove their backgrounds traditions, and families together. To top it all off, The Oceanview is truly a stunning venue, offering instant access and panoramic views of the ocean. We had front row seats to a gorgeous sunset, after which the party continued with s'mores, sparklers, cigars, and a lovely last dance--all while the sound of the waves echoed softly behind us. It was a perfect end to a perfect day. Annika & Yijie - thank you from the bottom of our hearts for having us there to capture your amazing day! Congratulations!
